Camera is Frozen
Please eject the memory card and power the camera. Should the camera power on normally, then there is an issue with your memory card, and you should try a different, known good class 10 SD card try using that in place of the current card. We do not recommend Sandisk cards due to the history of failures with DOD-Tech and Vicovation products.
If the camera still freezes, please contact us directly at support@car-dvr.co.uk

Please apply an external USB power bank or USB power adaptor that provides 5V/1A output power.

How long can the dash-cam keep recording after power source is removed?
Due to safety reason DOD-Tech camera operate up to 3min without power supply,
Vicovation cameras use super capacitors and can only sustain the device to close file, save it, and power off correctly. The video recording will stop right after the power source is removed.

GPS problems.
First connection with GPS lock may take between 1min-5mins but every next connection will only take 10sec-30sec. Your windscreen can not be heated as this will disturb GPS and may cause problems with GPS signal. GPS icon should be shown on the cameras screen, if it is flashing then it means that there is no GPS signal, it is good to check if devise will catch signal outside of the car after around 1-5mins (please be aware that camera only works 5-10min without power supply therefore should be connected to power source at all times when in use.
